VW Touareg: Driven by leading cricketers

This is the second sponsoring stunt of VW in the last few days, first was the announcement of sponsoring DC United in the US Major League Soccer and now VW UK announced to sponsor leading cricketers.
Volkswagen UK, which has long standing ambassador associations with a number of high profile cricketers, today announced a major extension to its involvement with the sport through new partnerships with the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), the Professional Cricketers Association (PCA) and the UK’s International Test Match Ground venues.

The partnerships, which will begin with the start of the 2008 international fixture between England and New Zealand at Lord’s on 15 May, will see Volkswagen become the Official Vehicle Supplier to the ECB, PCA and the Test Match Grounds.
